Henderson Chiropractic Center
What is pelvic floor therapy?
Pelvic floor therapy is designed to help women and men with pelvic floor dysfunction. Symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction can include, urinary incontinence, frequent or sudden urination and sexual dysfunction. These are just a few of the symptoms that can come along with weakness in your pelvic floor muscles!
Treatment for Pelvic Floor
Our providers, Dr. Brandon Taylor and Dr. Kayla McHale, have been trained in many different pelvic floor techniques. They will diagnose and find the cause of your problem and give you a customized treatment plan to help you gain control back!
At Henderson Chiropractic Center, we utilize several techniques to target your pelvic floor muscles including chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy exercise and magnetic vibration therapy. This whole-body approach gives you the all the tools you need to help solve your pelvic floor dysfunction once and for all!

Understanding the pelvic floor
Think of the pelvic floor as a soda can. The top of the soda can represents your diaphragm. The sides of the soda can are your core muscles. Lastly, the bottom of the soda can represents your pelvic floor muscles. Whenever you have a dent or bulge in the soda can, the integrity and function of the soda can changes. This same concept is applied to the body. If any part of the core, pelvic floor or diaphragm is not functioning properly it is going to cause a negative reaction in the system.
Magnetic Vibration Therapy
We are so excited to offer a form of magnetic vibration therapy in our office to help you claim your independence back. This magnetic vibration therapy, in the form of a chair, is a non -evasive and non-embarrassing way to help strengthen your pelvic floor muscles to limit your symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction! One 30-minute treatment is equivalent to 10,000 Kegel exercises!
Magnetic Vibration Therapy and the Pelvic Floor Muscles
The vibration therapy works by sending high intensity stimulation into the nerve cells that control the pelvic floor muscles. The magnetic vibration activates and strengthens the communication between the nerves and cells. This improves blood flow, stimulates the muscles, and improves neurological communication between the brain and the pelvic floor. The results of this speak for themselves! The pelvic floor muscles become more firm, elastic, strong and function much better.
